welcomes Brian K. Hicks!
Brian K. Hicks is
a veteran public affairs official having served in numerous capacities in
the federal and state government and on local, state and national political
campaigns.
Prior to forming Hicks Partners, LLC in August 2003, Hicks served as chief
of staff for the governor of Ohio. Hicks previously served as Ohio deputy
secretary of state and as senior legislative assistant to Congressman
Michael G. Oxley, formerly chairman of the House Financial Services
Committee.
Hicks is a member of the board of trustees of The Ohio State University,
member of the board of directors of Campus Partners for Community
Redevelopment, University Hospital and serves on the Ohio Water Development
Authority.
During the 2004 presidential election, Hicks discussed political strategies
and news as a weekly guest panelist for an Emmy award-winning show entitled
“Campaign Perspectives” on WCMH-TV 4 in Columbus.
Hicks is a graduate of The Ohio State University where he was elected
president of the Undergraduate Student Government, representing more than
50,000 students.
