AIABG Hosts Candidates Night at Maharahja's Restaurant in Dublin, Ohio

The Asian Indian American Business Group (AIABG) will hold a "Candidates' Night" on Thursday, September 10, 2006. Candidates will have an opportunity to introduce themselves to the community, discuss their platforms, and meet their future constituents. There will also be a question and answer period, with questions coming from the community. Candidates should begin arriving at 6pm.

This event is an opportunity for community residents to gain an understanding of the positions and priorities of the candidates running for the offices of U.S. Senate, U.S. Congress, and State Senate. AIABG Members may also voice their concerns and the priorities they have for their community.

Dr. Milroy Samuel, President of The Asian American Business Group (AIABG), sponsor of this event, said, "It's easy to vote based upon a specific political affiliation, a commercial you have seen on TV, or which one candidate seems "nicer", but your vote is far too valuable. AIAB and it's members want central Ohio and it's residents to be informed of each candidates view points and where they stand on issues that are important to them. We strongly incourage all to get registered, become informed, and ask questions."

AIABG, striving to help business leaders from all cultures communicate better with our local, state & federal governments.
